you know, i’d probably never even heard of the wind done gone, if it wasn’t for all this brouhaha surrounding it. i think the margaret mitchell estate is wrong in wanting it banned, from what i can discern it is a parody of gone with the wind”. book banning just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. if the judge’s decision is ever reversed, the margaret mitchell estate has guaranteed the wind done gone will be a huge best-seller.
It’s like the glue-sniffing epidemic in the sixties that was caused by anti-glue-sniffing ads. Kids all over America said, “Huh? You can sniff GLUE?”
Then they sold this lame-o non toxic stuff which never dried and mad my model planes all sticky.
I’ve forgiven them now, though…
