our house, in the middle of our street
So this is Friday. I think my chicken-pox-like disease has gone away, though my chest still really itches. I guess maybe it was the sunburn. You know what that means? No more cleavage revealing shirts for me this summer. No way, not a chance.
Sister #2 is moving into her grown-up house today. Tomorrow I get to go experience all her grown-upedness. It’s weird. She owns a house. I feel like quite the immature teenager. I barely have furniture and she owns a house. Sister #3 has a house too and a baby on the way. It’s like their marriages, their kids and their houses make them immensely older than me. suddenly I am the kid sister, it feels so very strange.

The fastest cure from chicken pox I have seen in my life Have to rewrite the medical books on that one. A thought - does owning a house qualify for maturity??? (What is a “grown up” house anyway?)
