jodi, your name is sugar
i am babysitting jaycie and max this morning while sister #2 goes to the eye doctor. 2-year-old max has decided the name jodi doesn’t quite suit me. though he still delights in saying, “jodi you grodie!”
“jodi we will call you sugar.”
“what?”
“your name is sugar.”
“umm, ok.”
a while later. . .
“sugar i am hungry. i need a snack.”
. . .
“SUGAR! can i please have a snack.”
i think this new name is gonna take some used to.
That’s so weird. I mean it strikes me as Southern. I think I will have to start calling you “Sugah.”
