can you hear me?

i went to bed at 10 o’clock last night. for good reason. i had one of those stabbing headaches above my left eye. i think that was the eye i kept open while trying to type. so yes, i went to bed at 10. the phone rang at 10:30, it was some sort of telemarketer, i hung up.

as i tried to find sleep again, i cursed whomever it was that called me. as i lay on my stomach willing my heart to slow down. i was amazed how ringing phones in the dark always startle me. i jump, my heart pounds, i must always be expecting bad news from telephones that ring in the dark.

so i managed to fall back to sleep and then the phone rang again.

“hello, hello.”

nobody answered, i hung up and began the process of trying to calm myself down.

needless to say i had strange dreams involving ringing phones, superheroes and work. sometimes dreams just play there on the surface of your mind, but it’s much too hard to try to put them into words. . . any coherent words that make sense to people who can’t see the pictures.

ugh, the same thing happens to me. And then it’s impossible to get back to sleep.

Maybe it’s a Blogger-wide epidemic?

Although, given the superhero motif, I suspect Jodi is stealing my dreams. Thief!

I dreamt that I was on this huge pyramid of lime jello surrounded by a bunch of topless blondes all asking ” Annie are you OK. You Ok. You OK Annie?”
