i get knocked down but i get up again
sometimes when things are a little bit overwhelming (as they are right now) i just wish i had someone who wanted to take care of me. to make sure everything was ok and i was handling everything that was on my plate. i wish there was someone to make sure i ate a proper dinner and who would get me some ice cream without me having to ask.
it just seems that sometimes it’s hard enough to handle my professional life. sometimes it takes all my energy to be this hard-working, project-juggling professional woman. it seems that everyone here wants and/or needs something from me right now.
it would be very nice if i could go home and have someone who wanted to do something for me. i just want someone to do something for me right now. just for tonight.
mostly because i am a selfish brat.
Hmmm… if this person did that for you, would you return the favor as well?
