coming out

kari and i went to dinner and then went shopping. we were both in a bitchy crappy mood that could only be cured by italian food, wine, and girlie things.
after dinner and before heading to victoria’s secret, i poured my heart out to her. i told her all about the boy i’m secretly pining after [...]

around the corner

since my anniversary is nearing, i decided to take part in this week’s friday five:
1. How long have you had a weblog? Since July 2000.
2. What was your first post about? finally getting it right.
3. How many changes (name, location, etc.) of your weblog have there been, if more than one? none, at all. it’s [...]

search result fun

Search for: “where can I find skinny thin sexy girls”, not here.

some people actually use the headrests in cars to rest their heads. a foreign concept to me, being as well, it usually comes to my shoulder blades.
the new denny’s ad. . . ok so they’re celebrating the 25th anniversary of the muppets and denny’s grand slam breakfast. the grand slam is two fluffy hotcakes, two [...]

a beautiful mind

don’t read this if you haven’t seen the movie.
with that being said, if it wasn’t for russell crowe’s excellent performance this movie would have blowed so many goats. some of that russian spy stuff was just a little too, too for me. the movie could have been about 45 minutes shorter and i’d have loved [...]

whose brilliant idea

i rented “a beautiful mind,” for my viewing pleasure tonight. i’m more than a bit skeptical. the combination of the uberannoying russell crowe and math just doesn’t seem like a very enticing combination. i will keep you posted.

is there any email on earth that makes you happier than the amazon “your order has shipped” email? what’s even better is when you get that email and dash off to ups.com to track your package and it says it will be in your hot little hands tomorrow, just in time for a leisurely weekend [...]

the mom club

there’s a reason i’m not in the mom club yet, well besides the fact that i don’t have children. i’m not in the mom club because i’m not quite ready to have conversations like this:
“he’s a farter all right,” virginia said.
“yeah, but that’s good,” traci said, “he needs to get that out.”
“he’s kinda poopy,” virigina [...]

bodascious ta-tas

i went out on a limb today and wore the boadascious ta-tas shirt. i haven’t worn the shirt since i first bought it. but today i just sort of felt like wearing it. yeah, i don’t think i will ever wear this shirt to work again.
as a woman with ample breasts i expect a certain [...]

an invisible sign

if it weren’t for donut holes and midol, there really would have been no point in getting out of bed this morning.

crying in bed

i was just in bed, trying to go to sleep when i started crying. i made myself cry. i think there’s some weird compulsion to cry once you get your period. it’s like it doesn’t count if you don’t have some weird crying fit.
since i didn’t have anything to cry about, i had to [...]

(re)discovered!

todd, the web designer at work, discovered iwilldare.com recently (hi todd!). i’m not sure if he’s reading it, he might be. i tried to remain calm cool and collected about it. i think i did a pretty good job, but i blushed roughly 329 shades of red.
he actually complimented me. said the design was pretty [...]

25 things

sister #2 did 25 things about jaycie and max. is that not just about the cutest thing you ever did see?

i woke up this morning singing the garth brooks’ classic “i got friends in low places.” i have no idea what that could possibly mean.
