so i sing a song of love
for the love of my family i braved the day before thanksgiving inhumanity that is called the grocery store.
it was not a total wash, because i was checked out by julia. julia rocks and if there were like an award for best supermarket checkerouter, surely julia would win it every year. she rules. she’s friendly, funny, and makes the 4 minutes you spend standing there while she scans your groceries a pure joy. i love julia.
and for a chick in her 50s she’s got some kickass hair.
so yes, i braved the supermarket insanity and now my family will get cheese and crackers on this thanksgiving holiday.
