how do i get a button?! i have whole heartedly joined your campaign to save burnt sienna. what you do not know, is that i have identified myself with burnt sienna since 1998. it’s a long story. it has to do with my e-mail address (the one you don’t see, because i protect it from webcrawling spammers.)

i have got my friends to join in and help. and i think i’m going to go out and buy myself a box of crayons now.

You know what I like the most about Juliana Hatfield's Book Notes essay? Not only does she list a Wilson Phillips song and talk of how much she and Evan Dando loved their album, but she disses their lyrical grammar. It's more awesomeness than the law should allow. I haven't read her memoir yet, but I so hope it has an extended chapter about her role as the angel on "My So-Called Life." [+]
