i just ordered my best friend’s birthday gifts. i’d show you what i got her, but today might be the day she decides to read iwilldare.com and i don’t want to spoil the surprise. i did really good this year.
poor kari has the distinct misfortune of being born on june 5th– the day before me. for some reason she doesn’t seem to rejoice in her birthday as much as i do. for some reason, nobody (’sides sister #4 who has the same birthday i do) rejoices in their birthday as much as i do. i just don’t understand that.
My cousin Cheryl was born on June 5th. She’s a very good writer. You are on the 6th, and Louise Erdrich is on the 7th. Must be something in the stars.
