the fascination with fruit spooj continues

“i’ll have you know that’s fresh fruit,” chicken little said pointing to the now controversial kringle.
“oh, i don’t doubt that,” i said.
“but you said you don’t like old fruit,” he said.
“i don’t like baked fruit, old or new.”
“so you don’t eat pie?”
“nope, baked fruit.”
“no pie at all?”
“i eat brownie pie, which is really just a brownie shaped like a pie.”
“wow, no pie.”
“i hate fruit spooj.”

I’m not into the fruit spooj either – although I have learned to enjoy apple pie and apple crisp.

I much prefer the chocolate items or pecan pie.

When I was a kid, my brothers tortured me by making me eat fruit-filled Pop Tarts.

maybe love is not a strong enough word.

I lurve pie.

and when I lived in Seattle I would drive out to North Bend where they filmed Twin Peaks and order a slice of pie at the Mar T Cafe..

emmmmm. I ‘m drooling on myself just thinking about it… umm… well to each hi/her own. You don’t like baked fruit, just means more for me.
