is the season over yet?

you know, since today’s new years eve (which makes my stomach hurt because well, because) does that mean the season of giving is almost over? because though christmas was good to me, i didn’t get the light blue cubist bag my heart desired more than anything (besides the raymond carver books, typewriter, calendars, short story collections, and DVDs — yeah, i’m a brat). and it’s probably safe to just go buy it myself, huh?

because i forgot about how very, very much i wanted it. but then last night whilst talking with the TTHM, i spent a good 20 minutes waxing poetic about the beautiousness of this bag and how i would probably love it as much as my beloved burnt sienna bag (the story of which took another 30 minutes to tell). so now, i think i might have to just buy the bag, don’t you think?

i decided to buy a couch instead, or at least save up to buy the couch in february. then i have to start saving for the big move. i’m really bad at saving.
