home in one piece
i work in one of the swankiest suburbs of the twin cities. you think they’d be able to afford a damn snow plow. we’ve gotten something like 9 inches of snow so far today and not a flake of it has been pushed off the roads in eden prairie. so i decided to stay super late. smart move for the wise girl, it only took me about 40 minutes to get home (normally during rush hour it takes me about 30). so i cannot complain. of course i will complain when mr. furley comes pounding on my door at 7:30 to remind me that i have to move my truck by nine.
in other news, i sent out a song of the day at work. it was jet’s “cold hard bitch.” webboy thinks i should make it my new theme song. “dude,” he said. “that song was written about you.”
Sheesh–all this time I’ve been reading your blog, to find that you live in the cities too! Well, that’s just neat.
By the way… this is the best blog ever. I read it … about every other day or so. Keep it up–!!
