Great article. I had four miscarriages in three years, and people would be stumped as to what to say to me. They’d try to be optimistic: “Oh, you can try again”. Or pragmatic: “Oh, it wasn’t meant to be.” The people I was (and still am) most greatful to are the ones who just said “I’m sorry.” It might not seem like it to you, Jodi, but those words are well-appreciated by your friends.

Things I Want to Tell You

Can't stop listening to "Who Were You Were Thinking Of" by Jeff Tweedy. Sing it with me, "who were you thinking of when we were making love last night? Was it a good-looking stranger or a close friend of mine. . ." [+]

You would think that if they were getting straight As they'd know the damn difference between loose and lose. GAH! [+]
