i read somewhere once or someone told me it takes 27 days to make a habit. if you can do something consistently for 27 days, it’ll become second nature and you’ll just start doing it automatically.

in the case of cleaning my apartment, if you extrapolate a bit, it will take 23 more weeks for it to become a habit. that’s right y’all, i’ve cleaned my apartment (at least the common rooms) THREE WEEKS IN A ROW (my bedroom is still a toxic waste dump, but today i did go in and de-shortstory it. . . yeah it needed that badly). do you have any idea what this means? in normal people terms it probably means my apartment is a seething pit of ungodliness. in the eyes of me, it’s next to godliness.

please worship me as the domestic demigoddess that i am.
