resume building
i’m sort of working from home today. so far it’s involved checking my work e-mail, putting on a few clothes and having a ding-dong for breakfast. i have a list of stuff i have to do today, but then a nap got in the way. i promised myself i would grocery shop and do laundry before the day is over and really, it’s not even lunchtime yet and who is productive before noon even when they are at work? not me, especially on a monday.
so, i’ve been checking my e-mail and having a little back and forth with chicken little. see last week chicken little asked for a bit of my most precious time and i, of course, said yes i have some time for you chicken little. and he said, “well, i wasn’t sure, you’ve been so crabby and unapproachable lately.”
yeah, like that one’s gonna die anytime soon.
so today he sent me an e-mail asking me where in the hell i was, because i was responding to e-mail (which i don’t do when i’m actually in the office) but he couldn’t hear me (which you can totally do when i’m in the office). i said i was at home sorta working, but mostly napping.
he said he naps when he’s at work. i said i’m much too busy being crappy and unapproachable at work to nap. now he just told me to add vindictive and unforgiving to the list. i wonder if i should put all this on my resume.
