		<description>Short pants bother me to no end as well.

I remember ordering three pair of jeans from a catalog a few years ago.  Two of them fit just fine...the third must have been mismarked, since each leg was about two inches short of the others.  'course, I didn't notice this until after I washed them...

Luckily, there are plenty of uses for such jeans.  I use them when I'm working on the car/bus, or when I know I'm gonna be working outside in the springtime sloshing around in the mud.
