some more birthday ideas for those of you who are stumped

since we’re starting to get into the not-messing around portion of our birthday program — IT’S IN TEN DAYS. i submit to you these ideas:
an iGuy
a real guy
any wes anderson DVD
a smile with my name on it
anything from my Wishlist
a teakettle
a nice thought
a pinch to grow an inch or a sock to grow a block
a strawberry shortcake doll (which i’ve wanted for TWO YEARS in a row now)
a bottle of captain morgan

the iGuy is fabulous. i think Manny the iPod needs one, too.

and i used to have a strawberry shortcake doll (or 12) when i was much younger, but my mother gave them all away. it was a sad day.

I noticed you have “The Things They Carried” on your list. Have you read it yet? If not and you don’t get it for your birthday, I have a copy you can read. I really really like that book. I have 4 of O’Brien’s books and enjoy them all.

Things I Want to Tell You

Can't stop listening to "Who Were You Were Thinking Of" by Jeff Tweedy. Sing it with me, "who were you thinking of when we were making love last night? Was it a good-looking stranger or a close friend of mine. . ." [+]

You would think that if they were getting straight As they'd know the damn difference between loose and lose. GAH! [+]

Yeah, I know there are problems with the comments timing out and giving an error message. I'm working on it. Never fear, the comment is still posting, it's just being really annoying in the process. I hope to have this fixed ASAP. I believe it's fixed. If there is still a problem, it's probably your fault and not mine. Kidding. Kinda. [+]
