morning fortification
my body decided since yesterday was quite possibly the most boring day that ever happened, it should get up extra early for today, the second most boring day that ever happened. yeah, i don’t know about that decision either.
however, there is that silver lining. since i was wide awake at 6:30 a.m. i was all ready and raring to go by 8 a.m. usually, at that time i’m still rubbing the sleep from my eyes. since there is no way in hell, i’m going into work to start the second most boring day that ever happened early, i’ve settled into the comfy green chair to watch a little bit of Dawson’s Creek. it’s a most glorious start to the day, even if it’s a lame episode (the one where Joey goes to boston to hang out with LD-BF AJ, Pacey hangs out with the Jerry Maguire kid, and Dawson’s helps his mom open the fish restaurant). and now that i’m fortified with unrealistic teen drama acted out by 20somethings. . . well now i can start the day.
