If sexy is coming back, could someone give it directions to my house?

It’s times like this when you find out who your true friends are. I discovered today that Al, the cutest girl on earth™ and Wolfdogg, are my true friends. Maria and Seamus who I thought were my friends are not. They are people who just merely wait to kick me in my hours of need.

First of all, before I confess just remember that I have a weakness for hips. A weakness that borders on a fetish. The fetish takes form in all sorts of weird ways including collecting songs that mention hips.

So you can totally understand why I was drawn to Justin Timberlake’s “Sexy Back.” Actually, to be completely honest, I was drawn to it before I even knew there was a mention of hips. The title intrigued me, as did all the buzz surrounding the song.

And you know, I could use some of the sexy coming back.

I would have kept my dirty secret forever, if Seamus hadn’t busted me.

“What are you smiling about?” he asked.
“My new favorite song.”
“The Kooks?”
“No.” I took the headphones from around my neck and handed them to him.

He put them to his ears and the color drained from his face.

“What?”
“I know,” I said. “I can’t help it. I love this song.”
“Have you seen the video?” He raised an eyebrow.
“No.”
“What are you watching?” Al asked.
“Nothing, we’re talking about ‘Sexy Back’.” I said.
“Oh that’s my fave.”
“See?” I asked Seamus.

He laid the headphones down on my desk, right in front of me.

“I don’t know who you are,” he said. “But you are not yourself today.”

And Maria was so horror-struck she couldn’t even speak.

I am so ashamed.
