Max is at the computer wearing a shirt that says ‘Blame My Sister’ and playing Webkinz. He’s singing a song that goes a little something like this, Bubba Petunia, Bubba Petunia, Bubba Petunia’s HERE! Bubba Petunia is what he calls Jaycie to make her mad. It just makes me laugh.
At 7 a.m. he leaned over my face, as I tried to sleep on the couch and announced, “I am so glad today is the last day of mystery bookclub.”
“Why?” I opened one eye to look at him.
“Because this book is horrible.”
“Why?”
“I just can’t relate.”
And now, I just asked him, “How are those shoes coming Boo?”
“They’re coming from Bubba Petunialand the most unhappiest place on earth!”
Kids are a lot of responsibility, and very insistent.
