Since about November, we’ve had a steady stream of break and bake cookies coming out of our toaster oven here at Hell, Inc. on a daily basis. We’re dorks, me and my co-workers. We like each other so much that we invent little rituals where we bask in our likingness.
Today, for the first time we were out of break and bakes. Tragedy in the lunch room! So we had to get creative. . . we invented S’more Nachos! They were delicious.
You start by spreading Animal Crackers on a foil-lined pan.
Sprinkle liberally with marshmallows, diced up Hershey bars, and dark chocolate M&Ms.
Toast to a golden brown.
Delicious!
OMG, that looks so damn good right now. Just like the real smores I like to make in the toaster oven during the cold winter months, but the animal crackers make it even better than the boring ol’ square graham crackers. Yum.
26 Feb 07 at 2:17 pm #I got my kids a smore-making kit that i found at at a thrift shop. On Sat. night, the kids sat around the sterno “campfire” in one of the bedrooms and roasted marshmellows. They had a blast anddidn’t even burn the house down. We used Symphony bars.
