Paul Westerberg at the Fitz in June?

Rumor has it, according to the Man Without Ties message board, that one Mr. Paul Westerberg might be ponying up to the mic during his wife Laurie Lindeen’s appearance as part of 89.3 The Current’s Fakebook series hosted by Mary Lucia.

Lindeen will be performing with her former-band Zuzu’s Petals and talking about her new memoir Petal Pusher, which is due out June 5th.

I, of course, bought my ticket already — Orchestra Pit Left, Row 2, Seat 4. I’ll be there with or without St. Paul Westerberg. And to be honest I am so giddy my heart is fluttering all goofy-like in my chest.

I wish I lived in MN. I’ve been a giant fan of Westerberg for only a short time, but I’d like to catch him in person.
