I was gonna call this ‘conclusions I have come to recently’ but there is only one conclusion
- Most of the world is wrong when it comes to the (supposed) superiority of “Don’t Fear the Reaper” compared to “Buring for You.”
- A majority of my words have gone to fictional pursuits, thus the strange silence on iwilldare.com.
- My boss laughed when I told him I had to think so hard about goals last night that I gave myself a headache and am tired today. He found it reassuring that my goalessness extends to my personal life.
- Today is annoying and making me hate everyone.
- Except Jeff Tweedy.
- For a brief and ill-advised moment this morning while I was making coffee I made the decision to start referring to myself as “The Jodi” in an effort to make everyone call me that. Then I decided that was dumb.
- I was maimed by rock and roll.

hell, i’ve been referring to you as ‘the jodi’ for years.
26 Apr 07 at 3:35 pm #I was just thinking of you this morning. That is all.
26 Apr 07 at 3:40 pm #Fact: “Burning for You” is the jam.
27 Apr 07 at 8:55 am #Everyone knows that the original title of that song was “Burning for Ewe” and I for one cannot condone man on sheep love no matter how good the guitar riff. Thus “Don’t Fear the Keefer” is clearly the winner.

27 Apr 07 at 2:07 pm #The important point is that Buck Dharma wrote both songs, as well as the far superior “Perfect Water.”
As the only person in these parts that owns the entire BOC discography, I shall now consider the matter closed.
Also, Jay Farrar > Jeff Tweedy.
Contrarily yours,
Timmy Mac
27 Apr 07 at 3:21 pm #Oh Timmy.
Are we really supposed to believe someone who admits to owning the entire BOC discography to be able to clearly judge Jeff Tweedy superiority over Jay Farrar?
27 Apr 07 at 3:23 pm #Tweedy is more fun when he’s not out in left field, but he does spend a fair amount of time out there. Jay isn’t quite as much fun, but he is a little more dependable.
Everything I know about Oyster Cults, I learned from The Jodi.
