I would be remiss if I let slide, without mention, the death of Donnie & Marie’s father, George Osmond. The first tape I ever got (8th or 9th birthday) was the soundtrack to Goin’ Coconuts, purchased by my parents at KMart based on my love of the Donnie and Marie Barbies and TV show.

It’s one of the first tapes I ever got, too! I found your posting because I was actually trying to find the CD because I have such great memories of that album. I’m almost afraid to hear it again–will it be horrible? Needless to say, iTunes doesn’t have it, neither does Amazon, and you can hardly find mention of it (except in your blog).
Thanks for letting me know I wasn’t crazy in even believing such an album ever existed!
