Tomorrow is a fresh start
I am sad to report that tensions have increased in the great Sister Club War of 2007. We were heading towards a detente but tempers have flared and Christmas is once again in jeopardy.
After I got the phonecall from the angry sister, I curled up in the middle of my bed and was all “ahuh, ahuh, ahuh,” with the dramatic crying. I even told myself that I had reached my breaking point and I couldn’t take anymore. Then I promptly fell asleep.
Thankfully I woke up on the less melodramatic side of the bed.
I told myself today is my last day of wallowing for awhile. It’s time to quit with the whiny and start with something new. It helps that today is the last day of November which will go down in the record books as the worst November to ever happen (what with the SC War and the losing of the job). But tomorrow is December and that means a fresh start to everything.
See what you might be missing

Robin // Dec 01 07 at 7:57 amHi Jodi,
I visit and enjoy your writings but rarely comment. Just wanted to say that sucks about the job, but I know a year from now you’ll be doing something you enjoy more.
Nothing to do with sisters or jobs, but listen to the podcast of WNYC’s Soundcheck for Nov. 30. It’s an oral history of the Replacements.
