after six chapters, i’m calling it a night. everything will look better in the morning right? right?

so, you’re probably asking what the intrepid copyeditor does to celebrate the fact that she beat chapter 5 into submission. why, she has rewards herself with Nutter Butters and chocolate milk.

chapter 5 and i are fighting. i don’t know why it can’t be all easy peasy like its siblings chapters 1, 2, 3 & 4. clearly chapter five has some issues.
really, it’s not chapter 5’s fault alone. most of chapter 5’s problems are coming from Microsoft Word. We’re having a few formatting issues. these issues [...]

i’ve completed the first three chapters of the book. it’s going just swimmingly really– nowhere near as bad as the last book i edited. this author is really pretty good. of course, i’m not even a quarter of the way done, i’m still in the sunny three-hours into it phase. this will probably change around [...]

i got through section four. i can’t do section six or five. this is because my eyes have stopped focusing. also, i don’t have the electronic version and i can’t mark-up the paper doc because there’s too much copying and pasting to be done. perhaps they will understand. perhaps they don’t have a choice but [...]
