blech. last week a freshman at my alma mater UWEC died while trying to give birth in the bathroom of one of the dorms (the dorms at UWEC just happen to be located right behind one of the eau claire hospitals so this makes everything even sadder) today, i learned the baby died too.

apparently the breaking news i was talking about last night ended in a murder suicide. i wish there were more details.
